Skindecent was started as a result of a birthday present the owner received! A couple of years ago, she received this unique solid lotion bar as a gift. Once it was gone, she went to the store where it had been purchased it from, only to be informed that they no longer carried that line of products. So she decided to make them for herself. After many trials & errors, she finally came up with a formula she was happy with. Following this, came all the other products we offer today.
She discovered that by making these products by hand herself, she could not only have them in any scent she wanted, but had total control over what ingredients went into them too! The business was created to offer you custom made products in your choice of scents. It’s a service not available when you walk into a retail store. All Skindecent products are made from natural vegetable based ingredients. The only chemicals used are the preservatives, which are required by law.
All the scents we use are fragrance oils, which have been approved as skin & body safe. We have chosen to mainly use fragrance oils instead of essential oils to be able to offer fun & tantalizing scents which, We believe, sets us apart from most natural based body care manufacturers.
Almost all of the products we offer can be made into ANY of the
95 scents listed in the fragrance section. They can also
be left in their natural, unscented form.

We generally scent our products quite strong, unless otherwise indicated. Since everything is custom made exactly for you when you place your order, it is made fresh to order and exactly how you wish. We do not go pull the items off of a shelf!

The formulas for all the products we make have been submitted to Canada Health. We hold both a municipal business license and a provincial sales tax license. We have all the credentials that a retail store does. What we don’t have is the high prices since we have been able to cut out the middle man by making all of these products directly for you!
